My second day of work orientation was today. It takes me a little bit to warm up to new things, but I feel like this will be a good job. I definitely miss working at the hospital and the people there back in Alabama, but I'm sure I will fall in love with this one as much as I did with med/surg.
My boyfriend Zach and I have been here for two weeks.. and four days... to be exact.. We arrived on a friday night of the 29th at 11pm :)
Leaving, to be honest, was the easiest part of moving. I love Hamilton, and some of the people in it.. but it just wasn't for me.. I don't think it ever was. I faced a few issues when I left. The main two was that I left behind some really important people in my life and (I also feel like) I took an important person from other people's lives. Even though it was both of our ideas to move, I was the ringleader and made it happen. Not in a proud sense, but in a sense that I've done it before and knew what steps to follow in order to move.
ANYWAYS, before I get too deep and lost in planes trains and automobiles of thought, I will post some pictures of the past two weeks.. (and four days!) of our lives in Charleston.
